One Health Webinar | One Health aspects of human companion-animal bond

Event information

Date & location

From 12:00pm to 1:30pm CET

Online

Companion animals – our family pets such as cats and dogs – are associated with significant health and welfare benefits for humans. But this close bond can also present risks related to zoonotic diseases and antimicrobial resistance.

Join us to delve into the health benefits and potential risks associated with having companion animals as integral members of our households.

Organised in partnership with MSD Animal Health, this webinar welcomes both academics and professionals in the One Health field from Una Europa universities and beyond.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn from leading experts about the benefits and risks of cohabiting with companion animals, as well as strategies to maximize the benefits while mitigating potential risks.

Talks will be delivered in English and translated simultaneously into Italian and Spanish.
