Are you a member of professional services staff in Information and Communications Technology (ICT), Human Resources, Research Management, or Digital Pedagogical Engineering? Eager to connect with like-minded peers across Europe?
Join us for the 2024 edition of Live My Life – a unique job-shadowing programme that enriches your professional journey by immersing you in an Una Europa university for up to a week. Dive into a collaborative experience designed for professional staff who are eager to step into the international arena.
What is Live My Life?
Live My Life is Una Europa’s joint format for blended job shadowing targeted at professional service staff at the alliance’s partner universities, providing professionals with the chance to engage in our network through peer-to-peer learning in a transnational context.
What to expect?
Live My Life 2024 begins with three online sessions:
- Introduction to Una Europa and the Live My Life programme:
During this session, we will explore the context of Una Europa and the significance of the Live My Life Programme. What does participation entail and what should one expect? This session is open to all interested staff members of Una Europa universities. - Development of Intercultural and Transversal Skills:
This session will equip participants with practical tools to navigate a transnational context and work effectively in multicultural teams. - Planning Work in Tandem:
During this session, participants will form pairs of 'peers' and plan knowledge and skill exchange activities to be carried out during the on-site visits.
Following these online sessions, an in-person visit to an Una Europa partner university will allow you to immerse yourself in the culture and working practices of you host university, facilitating knowledge exchange and mutual learning.
Am I eligible for Live My Life?
To be eligible to take part in Live My Life, candidates must:
1. Be a staff member of one of the 11 Una Europa partner universities;
2. Work in one of the following areas: ICT, Human Resources, Research Management, or Digital Pedagogical Engineering.
3. Be able to communicate in English.
