About the Una Europa Seed Funding Call 2024
Una Europa Seed Funding aims to kick-start collaboration between alliance partner universities and 'plant a seed' that can eventually attract external funding.
Open to all disciplines, the 2024 Call emphasises the empowerment of early-career researchers, reflecting a core priority in our approach to research and innovation.
Eligibility
Established academics and early-career researchers from the 11 Una Europa partner universities in all disciplines are invited to participate in the Call.
Seed Funding project teams must involve:
- One coordinator at the Una Europa university coordinating the project;
- At least one academic lead per university at a minimum of three additional Una Europa universities;
- At least one early-career researcher at each participating partner university.
For the purposes of this Seed Funding Call, early-career researchers are defined as doctoral degree holders who are actively pursuing research but who are not yet fully independent, with no more than seven years of experience since completion of their doctoral degree.
Applicants whose doctoral degrees were awarded earlier may be considered on a case-by-case basis subject to justification e.g. career breaks for family-related reasons or to seek asylum due to
political instability.
Application and deadline
The deadline for proposals is 17:00 CEST, 28 June 2024.
Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application via email in November 2024.
