Una Europa Seed Funding Call 2025

The Una Europa Seed Funding Call 2025 welcomes proposals in education, research and innovation, and societal impact inspired by Una Europa's Focus Areas:

• Cultural Heritage
• Data Science and Artificial Intelligence
• Europe and the World
• Future Materials and Technologies
• One Health
• Sustainability

This year's Seed Funding Call invites applications via one of two strands:

• Strand A, targeting collaboration among the Una Europa universities.
• Strand B, targeting collaboration among the Una Europa universities and universities outside the Una Europa alliance.

Up to 10 projects will be funded, with a maximum budget of € 40,000 per project.

Project proposals must be coordinated by a Principal Investigator (PI) who is an established researcher affiliated to one of the 11 Una Europa universities.

Strand A and Strand B have differing eligibility requirements.

If you are interested in in applying for Una Europa Seed Funding and want to broaden your avenues to find potential collaborators, you have the option of completing our expression of interest form to find potential collaborators.

The deadline for filling out this form is 27 March 2025.

Project proposals should be submitted in English by the PI via the online application system.

The application consists of an application form including endorsement letters for the Principal Investigator and each academic lead signed by the respective Dean or Faculty or Department Head, or legal representative of each partner university in line with internal university procedures.

The project description should be concise and should include a clear description of the vision, the proposed activities, as well as the budget and timeframe for these activities.
